4 Plinths 3: Out of the Dusk

Out of the Dusk was the third commission for the 4 Plinths project. It comprised four glass cases that together made up a diorama-like landscape, where mint green silage plastic cloaked skeletal wire frames.

The works, on their monumental site, presented something delicate, exhausted, and anti-monumental.

The Wellington Sculpture Trust gratefully received support for this project from Wellington City Council, Wellington Waterfront Ltd, Seresin Estate, and Te Papa.

The works were in place from February 2012 until February 2014.
